Welcome to our Beam Video Service ("Service"). By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Use of the Service

You may use the Service to upload videos or provide video links to generate thumbnail images, download them, or store them online. You agree to:

• Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
• Not upload or link to content that is illegal, harmful, or violates third-party rights (e.g., copyrighted material without permission).
• Not attempt to disrupt or interfere with the Service’s functionality or security.

2. Account and Authentication

You may access the Service via Google OAuth or GitHub login. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.

3. Subscriptions and Payments

Some features, such as online storage or premium thumbnail options, require a paid subscription. You agree to:

• Pay all applicable fees as described during the subscription process.
• Provide accurate billing information through our third-party payment processor.
• Notify us of any billing disputes within 30 days.

Subscriptions may auto-renew unless canceled. Refunds are subject to our refund policy, available upon request.

4. Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of any videos or links you upload. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to process, store, and generate thumbnails from your content solely to provide the Service. We own the Service’s software, design, and generated thumbnails (excluding your original content).

5. User Content

You are responsible for ensuring that your uploaded videos or links comply with applicable laws and do not infringe on third-party rights. We reserve the right to remove content that violates these Terms.

6. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms or for any reason at our discretion. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@beamvideo.io.

7. Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for:

• Losses arising from your use of the Service.
• Service interruptions or data loss.
• Third-party actions, including issues with Google OAuth, GitHub, or payment processors.

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the past 12 months.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify us against any claims arising from your use of the Service, including content you upload or your violation of these Terms.

9. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes via email or through the Service. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
